Job summary

Oneida Health in Oneida, NY is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to work in the Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility, including Vent and Tracheostomy Units, with additional coverage at the Oneida Health Hospital in Medical Surgical, ICU, and Radiology. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, CCC, NYS licensure, and optional VitalStim certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure: NYS Speech Language Pathology Licensure and CCC.
• VitalStim Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team and document care plans.
• Shadow/train for dysphagia management in Vent/Tracheostomy units.
• Maintain thorough evaluation and discharge summaries.
