Job summary

Magnolia Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to residents in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

You will screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans, supervise assistants as needed, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, while maintaining professional conduct and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize patient communication and swallowing function through screening, evaluation, and treatment.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines related to accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Provides regular updates to the Director of Rehabilitation regarding departmental activities and operations.
• Establish and maintain effective, patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Refer patients for treatment to Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable and provide clinical supervision.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, case management, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance speech-language pathology programs and services to support quality outcomes.
• Maintain licensure and ASHA certification, and ensure patient rights and safety policies are followed.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

Valid state Speech Language Pathologist license

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation
