Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time position in Chelsea, MI. The role involves diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments as part of in-house rehab services across SNF, assisted living, memory care, and independent living.

You will join a 5-Star retirement community with a supportive team culture on a 58-acre campus. Schedule is Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling; compensation is hourly with benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
• Current Speech Therapist state license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 pounds.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs hearing and/or speech and language examinations.
• Evaluates hearing and/or speech and language test results.
• Evaluates barium swallow and other test results.
• Diagnoses patients and formulates treatment plans.
• Educates patients and families about communication methods.
• Writes reports and maintains client information.
• Coordinates paperwork, writes lesson plans, schedules case management activities, and performs record-keeping.
• Develops individual and/or group activities and programs.
• Participates in IEP meetings and related teams.

What You’ll Do in This Role:

Join a 5-Star retirement community on a beautiful 58-acre campus with a rich history of excellence in senior care and a truly supportive team culture. The Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments as part of in-house rehab services in SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs hearing and/or speech and language examinations.
• Evaluates hearing and /or speech and language test results.
• Evaluates barium swallow, other test results, and overall medical background.
• Diagnoses patients and formulates treatment plans.
• Educate patients and family members about the various communication methods to cope with impairment.
• Writes reports and maintains client information.
• Performs administrative responsibilities: coordinates paperwork, writes lesson plans, schedules case management activities, and performs record-keeping for administrative, billing and caseload purposes.
• Develops individual and/or group activities and/or programs.
• Participates in the planning and implementing of individualized educational planning (IEP) meetings, in-service meetings, or intervention assistance team meetings.
