Job summary

Supplemental Health Care seeks a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois to assess, screen, and evaluate students and share results with parents and the school team.

You will develop and implement IEPs, review goals, and recommend care plans while establishing a positive learning environment and supporting RTI. Supervision of assistants may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology required.
• PEL from ISBE required.
• Illinois SLP license required.
• ASHA Certification required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $46 - $50 an hour
• 40-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants
