Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Sycamore, Illinois. The role is 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a local contract arrangement.

You will assess, screen, and evaluate students, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with a school team to support student success. Illinois licenses and ASHA certification are required or preferred per district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• PEL from ISBE is required.
• Illinois SLP license is required.
• ASHA Certification is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, screen, and evaluate students and share results with parents and the school team.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students and review goals.
• Create a positive learning environment and provide interventions.
• May supervise assistants as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $45.05 - $49.60 per hour
• 13-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants
