Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Current state license as Speech-Language Pathologist required or compliant with state practice act.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• ASHA certification preferred.
• Home Care positions require a valid Driver's License with a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Measures and evaluates language abilities, auditory processes, and speech production.
• Treats disorders of speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing.
• Assists patients in establishing an optimal functional communication system to express needs.
