Job summary

Asheboro Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Asheboro, NC, is a Long Term Care facility seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and inter-disciplinary collaboration within the rehab team.

The position requires an MA/MS in communication disorders recognized by ASHA, current license/registration, and CFY completion. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in communication disorders recognized by ASHA and state board.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
• CFY completion completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech therapy evaluations per MD orders.
• Document findings on the evaluation format neatly and accurately.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with goals, frequency and duration.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver therapy utilizing appropriate modalities and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Document progress in approved formats and update treatment plans monthly.
