Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for our Rapid City home health team. The role involves administering evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy to residents in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds state licensure as an SLP, ASHA CFY is preferred or in progress, and a current BLS certification. A valid driver’s license may be required; mileage reimbursement is offered for travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in the applicable state(s).
• ASHA Certification (CFY) preferred or in progress.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• BLS for healthcare providers within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech and language evaluations to diagnose and plan treatments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
• Provide speech-language services and monitor progress.
• Deliver therapy and train clients on exercises and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and quality requirements.
