Job summary

Innovate Rehab & Wellness is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Winnfield, LA. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers an hourly rate based on experience and a setting focused on one-on-one care.

You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with OT/PT and nursing staff, and contribute to patient-centered outcomes through evidence-based therapy and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred.
• Experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
