Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is expanding to Opelika, AL and seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. You will deliver one-on-one evaluations and personalized therapy for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, reassessing progress, and coordinating with families and care teams. A Master’s in SLP, state licensure, and ASHA CCC are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP license in the practicing state(s).
• ASHA CCC certification required or in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and TB screening as required.
• Evidence-based therapy knowledge for geriatric populations.
• Experience in independent living, assisted living, geriatrics, or home health.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Re-assess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing/family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations with safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate progress with treatment team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient outcomes.
