Job summary

Sylvania seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide individualized speech and language therapy to students with language needs in a nine-month contract. You will document progress, collaborate with teachers and families, and tailor interventions to each student’s needs while maintaining a safe, supportive classroom.

Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and an Arizona SLP certificate are required, along with an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card; CCC stipend is noted.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Arizona Speech and Language Pathology certificate required.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough and complete lesson plans and instruct students in accordance with established curriculum and student need.
• Assess student needs and performance; develop and evaluate speech therapy sessions and document progress.
• Implement and monitor speech therapy plans and collaborate with teachers and families to support student outcomes.
• Use technology to enhance learning and track student progress.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and instructional methods used.
