Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and provide services for students with speech, voice, or language disorders. You will assess students, implement therapeutic interventions, and support IEP goals across campus settings.

The role requires a Master's degree in SLP, Texas licensure, and at least one year of supervised clinical experience. Strong collaboration with teachers and staff is essential for student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the SBESLPA or a Bachelor’s degree with Texas Education Agency certificate.
• Ability to use accepted tests to assess communication disorders and conditions.
• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders.
• Experience: One year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Develop clinical management strategies and diagnostic statements.
• Participate in ARD committee and assist in interpretation of assessment data and appropriate placements.
