Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support high school students in a dynamic educational setting. This itinerant, full-time role serves three campuses with a caseload of about 60–70 students across buildings, focusing on a spectrum from articulation to autism spectrum disorders.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver direct therapy with evidence-based plans.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC) and active standard certification required.
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred.
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card required.
• Solid understanding of therapy for a range of disabilities (articulation to ASD).
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive SLP services, including assessments, development of IEP goals, and direct therapy.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs and progress toward measurable outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress monitoring.

Job description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, full school year itinerant position offers a unique chance to deliver vital services across three high school campuses in the region. The majority of your caseload (about 50 students) will be at one main campus, with the remaining 10 to 20 students spread between two additional high schools. Youll work with students who present with a broad spectrum of speech and language needs, ranging from mild articulation challenges to more complex communication disorders and autism spectrum disorders, including those enrolled in adaptive cluster programs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC) and active standard certification required
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card required
• Solid understanding of therapy for a range of disabilities, from articulation to ASD
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and comfort functioning as an itinerant SLP across multiple campuses
• Strong organizational skills for managing a caseload of 6070 students
