Pleasant View is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our clinical team. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based therapy, progress monitoring, patient and family education, and maintaining compliant records in a patient-centered environment. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is highly desired.
• Knowledge of evaluating and treating disorders across age groups.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and collaboration with others.
• Apply evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet therapy goals.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and home exercises.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Stay updated with research and maintain accurate patient records.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines for speech therapy services.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
