Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the Praxis Exam in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CFY considered).
• Current, active licensure in OK as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Uphold state CEUs to maintain good standing with the board.
• Ability to complete documentation efficiently for reimbursement and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with older adults across multiple diagnostic groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality speech therapy services and recognizes referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluates and collects data to ensure safe treatment and well‑being of residents.
• Modifies diet/liquid textures to ensure safe, least restrictive diets.
• Educates patients, families, and staff on speech-language procedures for carryover.
• Completes daily treatment notes, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation per Medicare guidelines.
