Job summary

Kids and Family is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist / Clinical Fellow to join our Early Intervention program in Philadelphia. You will provide pediatric speech therapy for children 0–5 with diverse communication needs in home, daycare, Head Start, and community settings.

Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. We offer mentorship, collaboration, and supportive supervision to help you grow, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to supervise students in a warm, close-knit team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Pennsylvania SLP license or provisional CF license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing speech and language therapy to children ages 0–5 in Early Intervention.
  • Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and service coordinators.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Coach families to support communication at home and in the community.

Position Summary

As part of our SLP team, you will provide ongoing speech and language therapy services to a diverse pediatric caseload in Early Intervention settings. Our therapists work with children with a wide range of communication needs including autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, pragmatic language deficits, feeding concerns, developmental delays, social communication challenges, and more.

We are especially proud of our supportive environment for Clinical Fellows and offer strong mentorship, collaboration, and supervision opportunities to help new clinicians grow and feel confident in their role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing speech and language therapy services to children ages 0–5

  • Collaborate with families, teachers, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Support and empower families through coaching and education
  • Build meaningful relationships with children and caregivers while creating fun, engaging therapy sessions
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Pennsylvania SLP License OR Provisional License for Clinical Fellows
  • Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply!
  • Passionate, dedicated, and eager to make a difference
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team
  • Previous experience working as a speech therapist, speech language pathologist, speech pathologist, SLP, SLP-CCC, CF, CFY or in speech therapy may make you a great fit for this role!
