Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team in Colorado. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD, ages 2-6, using evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, engage families, document progress, and tailor treatment plans. A Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and state licensure are required; 3+ years experience preferred, with AAC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CSD required
• License to practice speech pathology in CO or ability to obtain
• Preference for 3+ years of experience but open to new grads
• Experience with AAC desirable
• Ability to engage with young children

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD (ages 2–6)
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve communication skills
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care
• Engage families with education, resources, and support
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes
