Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a dedicated team serving children with ASD. You will assess and treat speech, language, and related disorders, and design targeted plans for ages 2-6. Collaborate with behavior analysts, OTs, and psychologists while engaging families in education and support.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, ongoing progress monitoring, and a strong commitment to early intervention and multidisciplinary care within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice speech pathology in CO or AZ.
• 3+ years experience preferred, but new SLPs are welcome.
• Experience with AAC is preferred.
• Ability to engage and connect with young children.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans for children aged 2-6 to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including behavior analysts, OTs, and psychologists.
• Engage families with education, resources, and support for the child’s communication development.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.

Soar Autism Center is currently seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. We are committed to providing exceptional care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with a strong emphasis on early intervention, integrated autism care, and evidence-based practices tailored to meet the individual needs of each child and their family.

Role Overview

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve communication skills of children aged 2-6, utilizing a variety of therapeutic strategies and tools
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care
• Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education, resources, and support to enhance their child's communication development
• Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
• License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)
• Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
• Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
• Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children
