Job summary

The St. Joseph County ISD is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, diagnostic, and direct/collegial support across Early On, Early Childhood, and K-12 settings in St. Joseph County.

The position requires SLP licensure in Michigan, CCC or CFY eligibility, and the ability to perform home visits and collaborate with families and school staff. Salary ranges from $53,518 to $98,738 depending on experience, with a three-year sign-on bonus and comprehensive medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Maintain Speech-Language Pathology License through LARA.
• CCC or CFY eligibility required for Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Child Find activities.
• Initiate and manage referrals to determine services.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations across articulation, language, fluency, AAC, pragmatics.
• Provide diagnostic information to placement committees.
• Deliver direct/indirect services using workload-based model.
• Develop schedules and communicate with staff/supervisor.
• Maintain records per MAARSE, IDEA, and MDE timelines.
