Job summary

Ingham Intermediate School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat students with communication disorders in regular, vocational, or special education programs. You will provide direct and indirect therapy, perform evaluations, and collaborate with staff, parents, and agencies to support student success.

The role requires SLP licensure in Michigan (CCC from ASHA optional) and knowledge of special education laws.

Qualifications

• Full approval as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the Michigan LARA is required.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations is essential.
• Understanding of speech and language development to identify and support disorders.
• Knowledge of speech/language development and pathology necessary to identify communication disorders and to develop appropriate programs and services for speech and language impaired students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and document findings.
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services to eligible students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to plan student supports.
