Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice speech-language pathology in Texas.
• ASHA certification preferred; Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication and oral‑pharyngeal disorders of functional or neurological origin.
• Document findings, progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• May assist Level II or III speech pathologists with program development.
• May act as Clinical Instructor for Speech interns and students.
• Promote safe care and adhere to Memorial Hermann policies while managing time and resources.
• Present topics in professional forums and maintain accurate medical records.
