Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients across the age span, from children to older adults, at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. The role emphasizes accurate assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and development of evidence-based treatment plans.

Required are a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Ohio licensure and ASHA certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Ohio licensure.
• ASHA certification or must obtain certification.
• Within 12 months of hire for a full-time employee.
• Within 18 months of hire for a part-time employee.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to travel to satellite locations.

Responsibilities

• Administers and interprets assessment measures for communication disorders and recommends management plans.
• Develops and provides treatment programs for patients from children to geriatrics.
• Upholds The MetroHealth System's mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
