Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluative and rehabilitative services to individuals with communication disorders.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment, documentation, teaching, and collaboration with care teams. Candidates must hold a master's degree in SLP, obtain CCC-SLP within 12 months, and have an Ohio license (WV license acceptable if WV). BLS certification is required. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or dual certification with state licensure
• Must obtain CCC-SLP within 12 months of start date and maintain throughout employment
• BLS certification required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and ACHC standards

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy evaluations based on diagnostic testing methods
• Delivers treatment modalities and techniques safely and effectively
• Demonstrates effective teaching and patient education
• Documents thoroughly in accordance with policies and ACHC standards
• Collaborates with other providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Performs other duties as needed
