Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients across the age span, from children to older adults, at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. The role emphasizes accurate assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and development of evidence-based treatment plans.

Required are a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Ohio licensure and ASHA certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Ohio licensure.
• ASHA certification or must obtain certification.
• Within 12 months of hire for a full-time employee.
• Within 18 months of hire for a part-time employee.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to travel to satellite locations.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: Days, Tuesday-Saturday; 2 holidays/yr

Summary

A Administers/interprets appropriate assessment measures in order to form appropriate recommendations for the management of communication disorders. Develops/provides treatment programs for patient populations ranging from children through geriatric. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required:

• Masters Degree in speech pathology and a valid State of Ohio Speech-Language Pathology Licensure
• Must be certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or must obtain certification

Preferred:

• Within 18 months of hire for a part-time employee
• Possesses current BLS certification, or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to travel to satellite locations.
