Job description

Tri-County SSA serves 10 small school districts north of Abilene. We serve Albany ISD, Anson ISD, Aspermont ISD, Hamlin ISD, Haskell ISD, Hawley ISD, Lueders-Avoca ISD, Roby ISD, Rotan ISD and Stamford ISD. We have a fantastic team of speech therapists that serve those 10 schools. We are looking for a full-time therapist to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Primary Purpose:

Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Master’s Degree in Communication Disorder
• Certificationof Clinical Competence in Speech & Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)/CFY

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to use the accepted tests and measurements to assess communication disorders and conditions
• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditions
• Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Salary Range based on Experience and Licesure: $49,000 - $77,000
