Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a part-time role. The position offers daytime weekday hours in home, school, or center settings, onsite in Long Island service areas, with competitive hourly pay. NY licensure required; CFY welcomed; reliable transportation a plus.

Qualifications

• CFY/CF welcomed; pediatric evaluation and treatment experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to multiple settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.

Hours: Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $65-90 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time role in a welcoming and supportive environment with availability to see students on weekdays during daytime and/or afternoon hours in the home, school, or center setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated support team and provide essential speech and language services to children. The hourly rate range for this role would be $65-90/hr based on experience in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
• Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
• A willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.

• Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinicial fellows welcome
• Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
• Valid Licensure and reliable transportation
