Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapy professional to provide in-home therapy services in Texas. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and work closely with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s goals.

The role emphasizes family engagement, regular progress updates, and meticulous documentation to ensure cohesive care. Texas licensure and BLS/CPR are required, with pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Speech Therapy license in Texas
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual ability is a plus

Job description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

• A valid, active Speech Therapy license in the state of Texas
• Current BLS/CPR License
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
• Prefer Bilingual
