Job summary

Lexington County School District One is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistive Technology to provide AT assessment, consultation, and services for students. You will collaborate with educational teams to determine accommodations and devices that fit IEP goals and ensure access to the general curriculum in the least restrictive environment.

Responsibilities include training school personnel and families, maintaining documentation, and managing AT tools and lending library equipment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or state-approved equivalent.
• Valid SC LLR SLP licensure.
• Valid South Carolina Teaching License (any applicable area).
• Must have current government issued identification.

Responsibilities

• Provides Assistive Technology assessment, consultation and services to address educational and communication needs.
• Collaborates with educational teams to determine AT accommodations, modifications and devices.
• Recommends AT tools and services to support IEP goals and least restrictive environment.
• Delivers training to school personnel, families and external providers as needed.
• Maintains documentation of AT recommendations and services.
• Plans and schedules AT services and training with school personnel and can travel to schools or provide virtual training.
• Maintains AT equipment in lending library and oversees procurement recommendations.

Education
