Job summary

The Aptus Group seeks a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Pacoima, CA for a part-time role. The position offers pay rates of $32-$37 per hour, with opportunities for growth and supportive supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs, delivering individual or small group therapy, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with teachers, parents and staff in an after-school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid California license as SLPA.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate records and documentation.
• Experience with SEIS & Welligent is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

• Follow and implement IEPs and treatment plans.
• Provide individual or group therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance and progress.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other staff members.
• Follow ethical guidelines and maintain professional standards as per ASHA.

Requirements:

• Required: Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
