Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based role in Issaquah, WA, starting ASAP through January 2027. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students' communication goals.

Qualifications

• Requires WA State Health SLPA license.
• Completion of an SLPA program or related bachelor’s degree.
• Completion of 100 clinical hours.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to follow supervision and complete onboarding/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services under the supervision of an SLP.
• Implement therapy activities and interventions per the SLP.
• Support students’ progress toward IEP goals.
• Collect data and maintain service documentation.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials.
• Communicate progress to the supervising SLP.

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Issaquah, Washington , starting ASAP through January 2027. Work alongside a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills that support learning, confidence, and connection!

Job Highlights:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP
• Implement therapy activities and interventions outlined by the supervising SLP
• Support students’ progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collect data and maintain accurate service documentation
• Prepare and organize therapy materials
• Communicate student progress and observations to the supervising SLP
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication needs
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow district procedures

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Department of Health SLPA license
• Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Completion of 100 clinical hours
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and guidance from the supervising SLP
• Availability to begin ASAP and work full-time through early January 2027
• Ability to complete required district onboarding and background checks
