Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Issaquah, Washington, starting ASAP through January 2027. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students' communication skills and progress toward IEP goals.

Qualifications include an active WA DOH SLPA license, completion of an SLPA program or related bachelor's degree, and 100 clinical hours. School-based or pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State DOH SLPA license is required.
• Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Completion of 100 clinical hours is required.
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are required.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and guidance from the supervising SLP.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP.
• Implement therapy activities and interventions outlined by the supervising SLP.
• Support students’ progress toward IEP goals.
• Collect data and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials.
• Communicate student progress and observations to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication needs.
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow district procedures.
