Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Arvada, CO. You will provide speech-language services under supervision of a licensed SLP to support K–12 students and help improve communication skills in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license in good standing
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
• Prepare therapy materials and support student engagement
• Participate in team meetings and ensure school documentation compliance

In this role, you’ll support K–12 students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll play a key role in helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom setting.
