Job summary

Berkshire Meadows in Housatonic, MA is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join a residential, special education, and day habilitation program serving children and adults with complex developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers an hourly range and opportunities to work with an interdisciplinary team.

This position requires MA SLPA licensure (candidates in process may be considered with supervision) and a commitment to supporting communication goals across settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• MA SLPA License required (candidates in process considered with supervision).
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct services and consultations to clients per IEPs and directives.
• Provide staff training and share data with the Treatment Team.
• Assist with assessments and implement prescribed remedial treatments.
• Conduct phonetic analyses of speech abilities by testing articulation.
• Develop communication systems using total communication approaches under SLP guidance.
