Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist - Consultant to join our team at Berkshire Meadows. We are a program that provides services in a residential, special education, and day habilitation setting to children and adults with severe developmental disabilities including significant cognitive, physical, and medical disabilities.

Responsibilities

• AAC‑focused work with children and adults, including modeling and training staff on the use of devices.
• Language‑based work focused on expressive, receptive and pragmatic skills and low‑tech communication supports across the settings that we serve.
• Oral motor/feeding‑related work.

Schedule and Compensation

16‑24 hours per month. Flexible schedule. The pay range is $50.00 to $75.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a Massachusetts Speech Language Pathology license (SLPA). Candidates pursuing their license or out‑of‑state certifications are considered.

• Must be able to work alone unsupervised.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Background check required.
