Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support a school in Hillsborough County, NH for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person position starts ASAP and runs through June 14, 2027, with onsite 35 hours per week.

The role requires an associate degree in communication disorders, supervised practicum experiences and collaboration with SLPs, teachers, and staff. You will deliver therapy sessions, track progress, prepare materials, and support AAC tools under

• Associate degree in communication disorders from an accredited speech-language assistant program; or equivalent.
• Completion of at least one supervised practicum experience working under the supervision of an SLP.
• Two or more supervised practicum experiences (preferred).
• Ability to provide services only under the direction and supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (no independent practice).
• Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff while meeting schedules, deadlines, and professional obligations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver student therapy sessions by following the supervising SLP's established treatment plans and goals.
• Provide individual and small-group support using activities and materials approved by the supervising SLP.
• Track student performance during sessions, document progress, and share updates with the supervising SLP.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and maintain an orderly, ready-to-use therapy space and equipment.
• Support student use of AAC tools and related communication supports under SLP direction, including basic setup help as assigned.
