Onward Education seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support preschool students in a Providence County school district for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is full-time, on-site, with a 37-hour work week, starting ASAP and ending 06/15/2027.

The SLP will evaluate and treat speech, language, and social communication, collaborate with teachers and families, and utilize AAC devices when appropriate. Rhode Island licensure and RI state certification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (RI).
• RIDE Certification required.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate speech, language, and social communication skills accurately.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool students.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student communication needs.
• Support use of augmentative and alternative communication devices when necessary.
• Educate staff and families about effective communication strategies and early intervention practices.
