Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support a school in Hillsborough County, NH, for the 2026-2027 school year. Start ASAP with a 2026-2027 school-year assignment, onsite 35 hours per week.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in communication disorders with practicum experience under supervision of a licensed SLP. Collaborative, school-based setting with opportunities for growth and a streamlined hiring process.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in communication disorders from an accredited speech-language assistant program.
• Completion of at least one supervised practicum experience working under the supervision of an SLP.
• Two or more supervised practicum experiences (preferred).
• Ability to provide services only under the direction and supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (no independent practice).
• Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff while meeting schedules, deadlines, and professional obligations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver student therapy sessions by following the supervising SLP's established treatment plans and goals.
• Provide individual and small-group support using activities and materials approved by the supervising SLP.
• Track student performance during sessions, document progress, and share updates with the supervising SLP.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and maintain an orderly, ready-to-use therapy space and equipment.
• Support student use of AAC tools and related communication supports under SLP direction, including basic setup help as assigned.
