Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a school-based role in Lillington, NC. This full-time position supports students by providing speech and language services under supervision, with a focus on improving communication and learning outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a passing competency test as required by the NC Board and be registered as an assistant. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, and school-based experience is preferred but

Responsibilities

• Administers screening protocols.
• Administers therapeutic treatment protocols written by the supervising SLP.
• Communicates with students and other professionals to support learning.
• Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists.
• Manages behavior using appropriate strategies.
• Summarizes and records target behaviors during therapy sessions.
