Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students’ communication in a collaborative school setting. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and assist with therapy activities aligned to IEP goals.

The role offers opportunities across placement options, ongoing support from experienced supervising SLPs and clinical directors, and access to continuing education and professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program or equivalent coursework in communication sciences and disorders.
• State SLPA license or credential (if applicable) or in the process of applying.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
• Support students in achieving IEP goals through therapy activities
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Assist with preparation of therapy materials and activities
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families as directed by the supervising SLP

Education
