Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a compassionate school speech-language pathologist to support students with communication needs in a school setting. You will conduct assessments, provide therapy, and contribute to IEP goals.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and document outcomes. Requires ASHA CCCs/CF and state license; strong interpersonal skills and organized, self-directed approach.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in communication disorders required.
  • ASHA CCCs or CF credential required.
  • State SLP license or license in process.
  • Teaching certificate or ability to obtain (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of communication disorders in students.
  • Diagnosis of speech-language disorders.
  • Treatment of communication disorders with evidence-based practices.
  • Development of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Progress monitoring and data collection.
  • Consultation with teachers and other professionals.

Job Description:

Position Summary:

As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students withcommunication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy servicesto help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents,and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students inreaching their educational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
  • ASHA CCC’s or CF
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
  • Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
