Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a school-based role in Bemidji, MN. You will provide direct speech therapy to K-12 students, aligned with IEP goals, under the supervision of an SLP, and collaborate with teachers and families to reinforce communication strategies.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range ($28-$40) and a placement/completion bonus up to $2,500, along with full benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in the service state.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to students aligned with IEP goals under supervision of an SLP.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting student progress toward goals.
• Support the SLP in screenings, data collection, and informal assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, service logs, and progress documentation.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities for individual needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriate.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current SLPA license or certification in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

• One year of experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Experience supporting diverse student populations
