Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active FL Physical Therapist license is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• 1 year or more in acute care preferred, ortho and neuro experience noted.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy for patients.
• Provides patient care to improve or restore function and prevent disability.
• Oversees support staff and participates in operations and performance improvement.
• Adheres to budget guidelines and mandatory licensure/education requirements.

This is a PRN Days position located at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. PRN team members work at least 3 shifts per month and will be included on weekend / holiday rotation.We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist Medical Center. This position requires a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working in an acute care setting, and experience in ortho and neuro care.Job Responsibilities:Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.Oversees support staff.
