Job summary

Ascension Providence in Waco, TX is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for acute care. The role provides therapy interventions, patient and family education, and discharge planning within a hospital setting.

You will maintain clinical records and participate in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality care. Requirements include a Texas SLP license (or intern), BLS certification, and the ability to work full-time in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Texas licensing as Speech-Language Pathologist or intern in process.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Will also accept Texas-Speech Language Pathologist - Intern

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
