HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our acute care team on a full-time basis. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and oral motor disorders, developing medically prescribed therapy plans in collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing and adjusting treatment plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating referrals as needed.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• State of Florida Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required.
• CCC (ASHA) certification required.
• Current Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient rehab experience.

• Establish, implement, and modify treatment plans, in accordance with hospital/department policies and procedures.
• Determine when patient progress and goals have been met or medical necessity no longer warrants intervention.
• Establish provisions for continuing services and make referrals to other professionals regarding patient care as necessary.

We are currently seeking an ambitious Speech Therapist to join our team on a full-timebasis. As a Speech Language Pathologist on our team, you will plan and administer medically prescribed treatment programs for the rehabilitation of speech,language, cognitive, and oral motor disorders. Your duties and responsibilities may include:

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology requiredState of Florida Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in direct patient rehab
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) awarded by the American Speech Language Hearing Association
• Current Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certification
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills
