Qualifications

• Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with a functional-based treatment approach.
• Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
