Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a compassionate team serving senior living communities. Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders, communication and cognitive impairments, and develop individualized treatment programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain before starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based techniques.
• Develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team under medical orders.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care.

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
