Aventura at Pembrooke in West Chester, PA is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join the team. Great opportunity to contribute to a progressive therapy team.

The rehab team is intentionally designed with growth and career enrichment in mind; you will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, assist residents toward their goals, educate residents and caregivers, document daily, and collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Residents conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
• Help Residents in their goals to improve Cognition or Swallowing
• Education for Residents and Caregivers
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Maintain Resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Contributes to team effort
• Perform Daily Documentation
• Perform Daily Billing
