Adept Nursing & Rehab of Waverly is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN shifts in our skilled nursing facility. You will assess and treat residents’ speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs to improve independence.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure, CCC-SLP preferred or CFY. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to deliver patient-centered care.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or Clinical Fellow welcome.
• Experience in SNF/geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Mansioni

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Provide therapy to residents recovering from stroke or neurological conditions.
• Assess and manage dysphagia and recommend dietary modifications.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records per regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and treatment plans.

• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and treatment plans
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to patient-centered outcomes
