Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Venice, Florida, is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their dedicated rehabilitation team. This role offers opportunities to build patient relationships and improve quality of life through personalized care. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients for swallowing disorders, and developing treatment programs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop appropriate Speech Pathology programs.
  • Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals and develop/implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one‑on‑one, providing individualized private treatment sessions using a functional‑based approach.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech‑language pathology.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.

USD $45.00 - $50.00 per hour.
