Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation in Troy, Ohio is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver SLP services in various care communities. You will perform patient screening, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure discharge planning and case management in compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will uphold professional conduct, collaborate with facility staff, and participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and leadership development offered by Reliant.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
